Biography

Dave Archibald is an fine art photographer living in Middleport, New York.  He has earned a Certificate in Digital Photography from Cornell University, and a BS and MS in English Education from Buffalo State College.  He works as an alternative high school English and Theater teacher for Erie 1 BOCES where he has been employed for the past 20 years.

Dave focuses on intentional camera movement where he creates abstract and impressionistic images. His ICM images go from the fantastical and dream-like to darker moodier images that lurk at the edges of reality.  Dave also dabbles in street photography and live music performances. He captures stories as people go about the daily lives at work, rest, and play.  The live music performance images embrace the the energy of metal and punk shows at local venues.
